How To File A Fraud Case
In cases of fraud, reports or complaints related to the crime may be made to the Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office or law enforcement agencies. Reports or complaints made to the governor’s office, district governor’s office, or court are forwarded to the relevant Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office. Reports or complaints may be made in writing or verbally, provided that they are recorded in a report. Once the investigation has progressed to the prosecution stage, the trial will continue unless the victim explicitly withdraws their complaint.
For a crime of fraud to be established, the perpetrator must have caused another person to fall into error through deceitful behavior capable of deceiving them, to the detriment of that person or another, and to the benefit of themselves or another. Deception is a form of lying.
