The conditions for removing images, videos, news, comments, etc. published on the internet are regulated in Articles 8 and 9 of Law No. 5651. The removal of content published on an internet website or blocking access to the relevant section (URL) of the website where the content is located is possible in the following cases:

Removal of content or blocking of access due to violation of personal rights,
Blocking of access due to commission of a crime,
Removal of content or blocking of access due to violation of privacy,
Removal of content or suspension of access service due to violation of Law No. 5846 on Intellectual and Artistic Works,
Removal of content or blocking of access due to the exercise of the right to be forgotten on the internet,
Blocking of access due to public interest and order.
In summary, individuals who are victims of online publications have the right to request the removal of content by contacting the content and hosting provider. However, if this request is denied, it will be necessary to pursue legal remedies.
