EXPLANATIONS :
1-) Our client’s application for Turkish citizenship was rejected on the grounds that he did not meet the requirement of having resided in Turkey continuously for 5 years prior to the application date, excluding periods of education. (ATTACHMENT-1) (ATTACHMENT-2)
2-) Since our client’s mother is a Turkish citizen and resides in Turkey, it is clear that there is no obstacle to including the periods during which the plaintiff resided with her mother while pursuing education in the calculation of the residency period.
3-) In light of the matters explained above, it has become necessary to file this lawsuit seeking the annulment of the rejection of our client’s application.
